Global Internship Program – From Campus to Business

As a Fortrea intern, from your very first day, you will complement your education in STEM or data analytics by contributing to real-world projects that align with our mission: to deliver solutions that bring life-changing medicines to patients faster and with true impact.

Your Team

The Statistical Programming Department plays a critical role in transforming complex clinical trial data into meaningful insights. Our team designs, develops, and validates the programs used to analyze and report clinical trial results across all phases and therapeutic areas.

Internship Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your programming, analytical, and data interpretation skills within a global, fast-paced environment.

Hands-On Learning:
You’ll support the creation, validation, and documentation of programs used for data analysis, tables, listings, and figures. You’ll also help ensure data quality and compliance with Good Clinical Practice standards.

Technical Development:
You will gain exposure to tools and SAS language: you will develop and maintain SAS programs to create SDTM and ADaM datasets together with tables, listings and figures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with global teams, including Biostatistics, Data Management, and Project Management, and experience how different disciplines come together to deliver successful trials.

Real-World Impact:
Contribute to studies that improve patient outcomes and drive innovation in drug development.

Education and Qualifications

  • You must be in your second year of a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated interest in clinical research, statistical programming, or data-driven problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with SAS, R, or other statistical software is an advantage but not required.
