Penguin Random House's 2026 Fall to 2027 Spring Internship Program in Publicity for Adult Books is a paid, 20 week remote opportunity that lets you dive into publicity across adult, children's, and corporate divisions. The program runs Sept 14 to Nov 20, 2026 and Jan 18 to Mar 26, 2027, with 21 hours per week for each session, and requires no degree, with eligibility for U.S. residents 18 or older who can be ready to work full time by June 2027. Publicists pitch newspapers, television, radio stations, websites and bloggers with the hope the press will review our titles and feature stories about forthcoming books and authors. Publicists also help create social media outreach, author tours, author signings, readings, and other events.
