Pain Matrix Geelong in partnership with Epworth offers a leading multidisciplinary pain management service in the vibrant city of Geelong. Based at Epworth Hospital Waurn Ponds, the service provides Pain Medicine Trainees with a unique opportunity to gain diverse clinical exposure across private and public sectors, with access to cutting-edge resources and specialist teams. Our integrated service includes Pain Medicine Specialists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, and Allied Health clinicians working collaboratively to deliver comprehensive care.
We are inviting applications for a second‑year Pain Medicine Trainee to join our dynamic team from February 2027 for a 12‑month appointment. This is a full-time role however part-time (minimum 22 hours per week) may be considered. The position offers advanced clinical training within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, including opportunities to develop skills in invasive procedures such as neuromodulation and to participate in innovative cognitive‑behavioural programs.
You will be involved in both inpatient and outpatient care at Pain Matrix Geelong, with significant interface to Epworth Hospital’s resources and clinical network. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates progressing in the Pain Medicine Training Program through the Faculty of Pain Medicine, ANZCA.
