An Account Manager - Automotive & Electronic (f/m/d) is sought by SICK Sensor Intelligence for a onsite role in Baden-Württemberg, covering Germany South. You will manage strategic customer relationships, lead field sales in your territory, provide technical consulting across the SICK portfolio, act as a trusted contact for customers and subsidiaries, and identify and win new market opportunities. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, have sales experience in automation or digitalization, with automotive or electronics exposure a plus; English, strong communication and teamwork, assertiveness, and negotiating skills, plus willingness to travel. YOUR TASKS:

  • Manage strategic and operational customer relationships within the automotive and electronics industries

  • Independently manage field sales activities within your assigned territory

  • Provide solution-oriented, expert technical consulting across the entire SICK product portfolio

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external customers as well as national and international subsidiaries

  • Continuously identify new market opportunities and actively acquire new customers

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification

  • Professional experience in the sales of automation, software, or digitalization solutions

  • Industry experience in the automotive and/or electronics sector is an advantage

  • Good English language skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Assertive and responsible personality

  • Strong negotiation skills and a high level of customer orientation

  • Willingness to travel within the sales region
