Account Manager – EMEA (Scientific Instrumentation)

Location: Netherlands (Eindhoven) or Remote within EMEA

Role Overview

This position combines technical expertise with commercial strategy to drive sales of advanced scientific instrumentation across academic, research, and industrial sectors in EMEA. It is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong scientific foundation and proven ability to build relationships, manage complex opportunities, and deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans targeting universities, research institutes, government agencies, and selected industrial customers.
  • Manage key accounts and identify new business opportunities across EMEA.
  • Collaborate with channel partners and internal teams to support customer engagement and technical sales.
  • Respond to RFQs, RFIs, and public tenders with support from technical teams.
  • Represent the company at scientific conferences and trade shows.
  • Monitor market trends and provide feedback to product teams on emerging research needs.
  • Maintain CRM records and contribute to accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Geoscience, or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in technical sales of analytical or scientific instruments,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages, e.g. German, are a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across EMEA for key customer engagements and occasionally to corporate HQ in Santa Clara, California.

 Allowed to work in the Netherlands (EU citizenship).
