Bombardier is looking for an Accountant Analyst who is an expert in Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting to join the Aerospace Canada team in Quebec as a full-time onsite role with flexible options. You’ll be the fixed assets policy expert, partner with the shared services team on capital projects, enhance asset accounting processes, support governance and quarterly reporting, and collaborate with external auditors. Key requirements include a bachelor’s in accounting, a CPA designation or candidate, 5+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and bilingual French English. SAP S/4HANA is a plus. What are your contributions to the team?
- Act as a subject matter expert on Bombardier’s fixed assets accounting policies
- Partner with the shared services team to manage and oversee capitalizable projects
- Enhance and maintain fixed asset accounting processes in compliance with applicable standards
- Support governance activities to ensure accuracy and quality of financial reporting
- Contribute to key financial deliverables (account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries)
- Support quarterly financial reporting and collaborate with Finance teams and external auditors
- Participate in team initiatives and provide support on ad hoc requests
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and are a CPA designation holder or in the process of obtaining it
- You have more than five (5) years of relevant experience
- You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience in fixed asset accounting is considered an asset
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is considered an asset
- You possess strong analytical skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and demonstrate initiative, commitment and perseverance
- You can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- You are bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written
