Citycare Property is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join us on a fixed term basis (13 months) for parental leave cover. You’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments and supplier information, ensuring our teams across Aotearoa receive consistent and reliable financial support.
What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā mea ka mauria e ko
• Previous accounts payable experience
• Clear, confident communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong relationship building skills
• NCEA Level 2 or equivalent; business or accounting study is a bonus
• Experience with large accounting systems such as Pronto, SAP, JD Edwards or Oracle is advantageous
What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
• Process invoices, credit notes and payment runs within required timeframes
• Manage AP queries, providing timely responses and solutions
• Maintain supplier master data including GST and bank details
• Support monthly reconciliations for suppliers, accounts payable and internal ledgers
• Monitor aged payables and resolve or escalate issues
• Provide accurate information and support to managers and administrators
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
• Communicate professionally with internal teams and external suppliers
• Uphold Citycare Property policies, values and expectations
