Job Description:               

The role is to report directly to the Business Centre Manager; the role  will be to assist with the operation of the Business Centre (42 Meeting Rooms), Auditorium (300+ seats); by attending various tasks including: meeting bookings (understanding which rooms best accommodate collaboration requirements / seating arrangements and IT set up), monitoring tenants allocated use of facilities, supporting tenants and  guests with IT connectivity (through internal service provider) ensuring that all F&B requirements are attended, event management and coordination for large gatherings, inspecting and ensuring that the cleaning and maintenance of the Business Centre has been attended. 

 

The candidate will have a close working relationship with the Business Centre Manager, Facilities Manager, Property Accountant, Administrator, Tenants, Guests and other interested parties in order to perform all functions and responsibilities required for the effective and efficient management of the Business Centre. Operations will be in accordance with best international standards and codes of practice. 

 

Candidate Requirements:            

The ideal candidate must have business centre management or hospitality / event management experience, with 3 years as a minimum experience in the UAE. They must hold a relevant degree and or accreditation and a working knowledge of Property / Facility Management would be an advantage but not essential. They must be confident in interfacing with tenants and have good customer management skills as this is a ‘front of house’ position. 

 

Skills Required: 

Excellent in Microsoft Excel (formula’s calculation sense checks)

Excellent in Microsoft Word

Excellent in PowerPoint

Fluent English / Arabic verbal and written, with excellent telecommunication 

Logical / Analytical – problem solving & decision making

Dedicated work ethic with references prepared to confirm reliable attendance and punctuality
