MacKillop Family Services is seeking an Administration Officer in Darwin for a part-time 8am to 2:30pm role within the NT Services Program. This Indigenous identified position supports the NT Coordinator and the broader NT WA/NT administration team, coordinating back office functions such as contracting, policy implementation, community relations, finance and human resources in partnership with local and head office staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate high level administrative experience, advanced MS Office skills, and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team while planning and delivering under tight deadlines. A solid understanding of Aboriginal culture and current issues affecting children and families is essential, and you must address the full Key Selection Criteria. Hold a valid driver’s license, Working with Children Check, and criminal history checks; an NDIS Workers Screening Check is required for risk assessed roles with MacKillop offering support. About the role:
The Administration Officer will provide high quality administration support to the Darwin NT Coordinator, NT and administrative support to the Greater Darwin NT Services and WA/NT administration team, liaise as required with staff from MacKillop’s Offices, as well as staff from a wide range of government and non-government agencies as required, oversee the local integration and alignment of all ‘back office’ functions, including contracting and standards, policy implementation, community relations, finance and business services and human resource management in partnership with relevant MacKillop staff locally and at head office.
This is a Part-Time opportunity with 8am to 2:30pm work hours (Flexibility in reaction to start and finish times to be considered) based in Darwin, NT within our NT Services Program. The position reports to the Family Support Services Coordinator, NT.
