Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.


As an Administrative Assistant, you will handle a variety of administrative tasks to support our operations and ensure the smooth running of our sites in France. Your responsibilities will include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting with daily office operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

This position will be a fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site management (deal with office managers, stakeholders, handle access cards, IT equipment,...)

  • Support teams on operation related tasks (trainings, handle security and cleaning services,gardening service,...) -

  • Support procurement on basic needs (consumables, daily needs, PREQs...)

  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.

  • Perform the management of letters (digitalize and inform the stakeholders).

  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.

Skills and Knowledge

  • French and English fluent

  • High school diploma or equivalent; any other higher education degree will be appreciated.

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
