Zayed University seeks an Administrative Officer to support the Dean with confidential correspondence, budgeting and expense reporting, publications for the College of Education, and coordination of meetings, travel and events across colleges. The role requires independent judgment, initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of administrative experience, strong English communication and MS Office skills; Arabic is a plus and familiarity with graphic design or web tools is helpful. JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY
Provides administrative and logistical support for the Dean. Actively supports in coordinating a variety of administrative and operational activities.Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment and performs the following duties.

The position holder must be able to work independently, while confident enough to work with staff and faculty across the College. She/he will be expected to be innovative and creative.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS/IMPACT OF INTERACTIONS
The position holder will need to liaise with colleagues from across the University in respect to the tasks and responsibilities outlined above.
Carries out all duties with a high degree of accuracy.
Communicates with staff and faculty professionally.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Institution with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Administrative work or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Preffered Rquirements
Must have strong written and oral communication skills in English, and preferable in Arabic
Highly computer literate including Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with graphic design software would be advantageous.
Prepares payment requisitions and reimbursements for professional development, Internships and External reviewers
Ability to learn and manage ZU web management software.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, Outlook)
