Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performing digital experience solutions. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring deep expertise in AEM architecture, enterprise integrations, performance optimization, and technical leadership.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and UX/UI professionals to deliver enterprise-grade AEM solutions while driving architectural best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust AEM architecture solutions with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective AEM solutions.

• Oversee integration of AEM with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.

• Define and implement performance optimization strategies, including caching, CDN integration, and code optimization.

• Develop technical roadmaps and recommend platform enhancements aligned with business objectives.

• Ensure adherence to development standards, coding best practices, testing processes, and solution quality.

• Conduct architecture and code reviews.

• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate solution approaches and emerging technologies.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

• Collaborate with developers, designers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver user-centric digital experiences.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Information Technology experience with strong Adobe Experience Manager expertise.

• Proven experience as an AEM Architect on enterprise-scale implementations.

• Experience delivering at least 3 large-scale AEM implementations.

• Hands-on experience with AEM 6.4, AEM 6.5, or AEM as a Cloud Service.

• Deep understanding of AEM architecture and core technologies including:

  - Apache Sling

  - Apache Felix

  - OSGi

  - Oak Repository

  - HTL (Sightly)

• Experience building AEM Sites and Assets solutions.

• Strong Java development experience.

• Experience designing and deploying highly scalable REST APIs.

• Experience with AEM integrations and customization.

• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated deployment pipelines.

• Experience deploying and supporting solutions in AWS environments.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Adobe Experience Manager Architect Certification.

• Experience with AEM Cloud Service.

• Experience with headless AEM architectures.

• Experience with enterprise content management platforms and digital experience ecosystems.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

For this role, the gross annual starting base salary is $125,000 - $145,000/ yearly (full-time). This covers base pay only; any bonuses, incentives, and benefits will be discussed later in the recruitment process. Candidates with additional experience or qualifications may receive a higher offer, determined by objective, gender-neutral criteria and consistent with our pay principles.
