Bombardier is hiring an Agent, Aftermarket Procurement in Québec for a full-time onsite role at the Administrative Centre. You’ll lead strategic sourcing and end-to-end contract management for aftermarket needs, manage RFx processes, negotiate terms, hold suppliers accountable to commitments, and drive cost reductions that bolster revenue and EBIT through cross-functional collaboration and clear KPI tracking. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business, law, procurement or related field and 3 to 7 years of aerospace or manufacturing experience, strong negotiation and contract expertise, bilingual in French and English, solid analytics, and comfort with complex technical topics. • Execute strategic sourcing activities and support project management charters/roadmaps for cross-functional initiatives supporting aftermarket procurement.
• Develop and lead end-to-end sourcing and contract management processes such as RFx, Contract authoring and administration, contract negotiation, and SLA’s.
• Prepare effective negotiation strategies in alignment with cross functional cost reduction initiatives and targets.
• Execute strategic negotiations to support cost reduction initiatives which positively impact revenue and EBIT.
• Engage and hold suppliers accountable to contractual and operational commitments, and address any commercial and contractual compliance requirements and gaps, including the application of contractual remedies.
• Oversee the development of alternate sources of supply, engage new suppliers and establish strategic alliances to expand on capabilities and optimize transactional, operational, and strategic growth enablers.
• Support aftermarket supplier and material management operational teams with the execution and implementation of identified strategic sourcing strategies to support the adoption of supply chain management best practices.
• Ensure the achievement of results in accordance with key performance indicator’s, balance scorecard objectives, and business transformation project plans.
• Prepare oral and written presentations, and chair regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders to track progress, resolve issues and maintain strategic relationships.
• Efficiently respond to ad hoc requests from various stakeholders to support the aftermarket supplier and material management business objectives and effective delivery model.
• You have a bachelor's degree in business administration, law, procurement, supply management or equivalent and three (3) to seven (7) years of relevant experience.
• You have experience in the aerospace industry and/or a manufacturing environment.
• You have experience in contract drafting, claims management and commercial compliance.
• You have excellent negotiation skills and experience in project management.
• You are detail oriented, focused and committed to meeting deadlines.
• You are a strong team player, recognized for your leadership and innovation, and ability to mobilize a team.
• Have a high proficiency and are good communicator in French and English (written and spoken).
• You have strong analytical skills and capability in financial management.
• You are comfortable with complex technical topics, and have knowledge of legal terminology or interpretation of contracts.
• You are able to multi-task under a highly demanding and continuously changing environment.
• You can work with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
