This Reservations Agent role supports InterContinental Genève and Crowne Plaza Geneva on a temporary onsite basis in Geneva. You will record phone and email bookings, register IHG Rewards Club and Ambassador members, and navigate room types, rates, and promotions across two high-volume hotels with a strong focus on accuracy and guest care. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years in a similar 4-5 star setting, is fluent in French and English, with a third language a plus, and ideally knows Opera. A glimpse of your daily life 

Every day is different, but you will mainly be : 

• Record reservations made by phone, email, etc., and ensure that all necessary information is available when taking reservations in order to register guest reservations.
• Register new members of the IHG Rewards Club and InterContinental Ambassador.
• Be familiar with the different room types and current rates, as well as the layout of the two hotels in the Cluster : InterContinental Genève and Crowne Plaza Geneva.
• Be familiar with the various promotions offered by InterContinental Genève, Crowne Plaza Geneva, or IHG.
• Follow all procedures for recording reservations, confirmations, and cancellations, as well as all current computer system procedures.

What we need from you

With training in hospitality, you have 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in a similar establishment (4 or 5 stars) with a large capacity (200+ rooms).

You are fluent in French and English, and proficiency in a third language is a real asset. Proficiency in Opera is also a plus.

With excellent interpersonal skills and a methodical mind, you are serious, independent, and responsive. You will need to bring us your passion and dynamism and share with us your desire to progress.

This position is available on a permanent contract basis, as soon as possible.

This position is for two hotels : InterContinental Genève & Crowne Plaza Geneva.
