Role Overview:
As a Delivery Lead in the Integrated Operations and Planning Mission, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping & operating the system of delivery for the product teams operating rhythm. You will enable, evolve and facilitate an efficient approach to product delivery, ensuring the teams systemic blockers are removed, linking to and working closely with other areas of the business as we transform to Product. Working closely with the Product Lead and Solution Lead as the ‘Product Suite’ leadership Triumvirate, you will operationalise Objectives and Key Results, Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Product Syncs, and coach the ‘delivery’ capability within the product teams.
What will you do:
* Design, implement, and operate the system of delivery with product teams, evolving and coaching to optimise idea to value flow.
* Design, implement, and enhance flow metrics and key indicators that demonstrate improvements in the system of delivery.
* Provide ‘servant leadership’, coaching, and facilitation to the product teams, agile practices, promoting a culture of collaboration and adaptability.
* Unlock systemic impediments, helping our journey towards a product way of working, closely working with the portfolio/PMO teams.
* Provide delivery reporting and metric visibility to interested parties.
* Be the Guardian of the ‘release plan’ and ownership of the product ‘route to live’.
Who we are looking for:
* Agile delivery expertise – strong understanding of Scrum / Kanban / LESS
* Facilitation – skilled in running workshops, retrospectives, and ceremonies at a product suite level
* Coaching and mentoring – ability to coach teams in agile/product ways of working
* Planning – skilled at building and maintaining release delivery roadmaps & know the difference between Product Roadmaps.
* Impediment removal – proactively identifies and removes impediments, influencing without control or escalation.
* Metrics and reporting – experience in setting up Flow metrics and product reporting mechanisms
* Tools – experience in aligning tools to the teams way of working, balancing commonality for the Product Suite/Wider Product Suites, with the needs of the product teams/squads (Jira/DevOps/Confluence/Lucidchart).
