You’ll repair and modify the ALSE suite on the Apache, work within a multi-disciplinary team, and influence readiness for national defence and joint operations. Essential: Cert IV in Aeronautical Life Support Equipment or equivalent, Apache Familiarisation, at least five years of aircraft maintenance experience, and Australian citizenship for security. Desirable: soundproofing, soft furnishings, explosives ordnance, and experience with ADF products on larger aircraft or rotary-wing platforms. Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking Aircraft Life Support Technicians to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team. In this role you will be tasked with repair and modification of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter ALSE suite.
Program overview
The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.
