ALTEN is seeking an AIT Technician in London to support assembly, integration and testing of spacecraft hardware for a major mission, working hands on with flight and non flight equipment onsite with a clearable status. The role requires mid to senior space industry experience, hands on AIT tasks on electrical, mechanical or harness subsystems, the ability to follow detailed procedures and drawings, and strong cleanroom discipline with accurate documentation. You will perform functional tests, environmental campaigns such as vibration and thermal vacuum, harness installation, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot integration issues while producing test logs and integration reports. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or equivalent military experience; security clearance or baseline checks may be required; desirable skills include TVAC, EMC, ECSS familiarity and flight hardware acceptance.
