Plena Healthcare is seeking an Allied Health Assistant in Launceston to work onsite in Residential Aged Care, under the direction of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver high quality clinical services while handling essential admin duties. This casual role supports the Plena Care Pathway, providing tailored evidence-based mobility programs, one-to-one and group sessions, equipment orders, referrals, and care plan progressions, with occasional resident transport and gym setup. Your Opportunity:
You will be responsible for working under the direction of Physiotherapists / Occupational therapists in order to deliver a consistently high standard of clinical service to clients in Residential Aged Care (RAC) Settings. As an Allied Health Assistant, it is expected that your time will consist of both clinical and administrative duties.
You will be involved in a new innovative way of offering allied health services to our wonderful Clients. Our award winning (2023 Allied Health Award for Innovative Product Excellence) Plena Care Pathway has been designed to provide our therapists with an opportunity to tailor therapy programs for our residents, built from resident goals and priorities, and delivers evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one therapy interventions and group based active aging services.
