The Warehouse Group is hiring a fixed-term Pick to Sort Team Member in Auckland through February 2027, Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm, at $30.28 per hour. You will sort completed store orders into the outbound grid, check accuracy, wrap pallets, and move stock around the sorting area, with MHE operation if certified. The role requires fast pace and sharp attention to detail, physical lifting and repetitive movement, and reliable teamwork or independent work. A valid NZ work entitlement is required; MHE license is preferred but not essential. Note this is peak-period work with limited or no extended leave including around Christmas and public holidays. Our Distribution Centre is one of the largest in the country, and during peak season, it’s all hands on deck. We’re now growing our DC whānau to meet demand – and that’s where you come in.

Job Description

Our Pick to Sort (Outbound) team is the last stop before stock leaves our DC. You’ll be:

• Sorting completed store orders into our outbound grid system
• Checking orders for accuracy and completeness
• Wrapping and securing pallets for safe transport
• Moving stock safely around the sorting area (MHE operation if certified)
• Working quickly and efficiently to meet daily deadlines
• Keeping your workspace clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• Supporting your teammates to keep orders flowing smoothly

This is a fixed term position until the February 2027.

Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm

$30.28/hr

Please note: This role is to support our Peak Period through to February 2027. As it is our busiest time of the year, we are unlikely to be able to approve any extended leave across this time including around Christmas and New Years (Please note, we do not work public holidays).

Qualifications

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have previous warehouse or DC experience (preferred)
• Can work at pace while keeping attention to detail high
• Are comfortable with lifting, bending, and repetitive movement
• Have a proactive, can-do attitude and communicate clearly
• Are a strong team player who can also work independently
• Hold an MHE licence (preferred but not essential)
• Are legally entitled to work in New Zealand
