Bombardier is seeking a full-time Analyst, Business Intelligence (BI) to collect, structure and analyze data from ERP systems, operations and quality, and to develop dashboards and KPIs in Power BI that drive action for operations and management at Marcel-Laurin Plant 1 in Québec. The role prioritizes data quality and governance, automated reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support data driven decisions. A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field, BI experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL and advanced Excel are valued; manufacturing experience and knowledge of data governance are assets. We are not looking for a perfect candidate; highlight relevant BI projects and measurable outcomes, and show how you translate complexity into clear insights. What are your contributions to the team?

  • Collect, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP systems, operations, quality, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
  • Provide clear, structured, and actionable insights to operational teams and management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
  • Automate and optimize reporting and performance-tracking processes.
  • Support decision-making through robust analysis and data-driven recommendations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes related to data management and utilization.

How to thrive in this role?

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional and performance-oriented environments.
  • Proficient with BI tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), as well as SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of data governance or data architecture is considered an asset.
