As a member of the Corporate and Agency Reporting team, the reporting analyst focuses on building production level performance reporting for both internal and external use in support of American’s corporate and agency sales programs. The job is a member of the Sales Performance and Planning Analysis team within Sales Operations. Supports Sales programs and performance including Managed Corporate, Agency, and AAdvantage Business programs
What you'll do

Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for the creation, enhancement, testing and development of productionized reporting solutions.Once the business intelligence solutions are devised, the reporting analyst works with our data teams and IT to implement into full production.
- Create business intelligence reports and analytical models that empower understanding of the performance of existing partnerships, evaluate new partnerships, and craft creative solutions that drive continuous improvement
- Leads communications directly with business units to understand their business problems and reporting needs.
- Maintains reliability of solutions by developing and implementing standards and/or process for database maintenance, documentation and configuration.
- Apply judgment to statistical performance measures and predictive analytics tools in support of sales programs to improve performance, profitability, and planning processes.
- Adaptive to new ideas and changes to business processes in a fast-paced and high pressure environment
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree; or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years in similar role
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- MIS or MBA/MS with focus on business technology
- 5 years development experience in an airline function
- 4 years of Power BI experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Microsoft Certification or Microsoft Programming Certificate
- Technical skills including Azure, R, Microsoft SQL, Python, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan
- Ability to communicate directly with users
