Gore seeks Aortic Clinical Specialist to support its Endovascular and Vascular products for the Benelux from the Netherlands. In this role you will consult with vascular surgeons, read CTs, plan cases, size devices, and assist with deployment during complex procedures while partnering with the vascular sales team. You’ll help clinicians build product understanding and collaborate with hospital staff to support outcomes. The ideal candidate has a biomedical engineering or Technical Medicine degree, is fluent in Dutch and English, organized and adaptable, and willing to travel up to 80 percent with a valid driving license. About the Role

We are looking for an Aortic Clinical Specialist to join The Vascular Team in the Benelux. You will provide case support for our highly regarded and market leading Endovascular and Vascular Interventional products supporting customers in the Netherlands. 

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the middle of The Netherlands.

 

Responsibilities

  • Consult with vascular and cardiovascular surgeons and interventional radiologists, being responsible for reading CT films, case planning, device sizing and selection.
  • Support the deployment of our products during complex medical procedures and consulting closely with the surgeon.
  • Interact and collaborate with the vascular sales team to ensure effective case support for our customers.
  • Support physicians and field sales associates to build their technical product understanding.
  • Collaborate with a range of hospital staff as well as maintain and build on these important relationships.
  • Become a product expert and a key contact for our customers. 

Required Qualifications

  • A graduate with either a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Technical Medicine, Science of Human Movement or similar, with a strong desire to start a career in the medical device field
  • A genuine clinical interest and committed to successful patient outcomes
  • Able to work effectively with a broad group of highly diverse individuals
  • Naturally highly organized and self-motivated and an excellent team player
  • Able to react and be flexible to our customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Able to undertake extensive weekly travel up to 80% within the territory, as well as occasional travel elsewhere in the EU
  • Home-office location, ideally situated in the middle of The Netherlands
  • A current driving licence

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the operating theatre or cath-lab
