Key Job Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Infor ERP implementation projects for the heavy equipment business.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and issue resolution frameworks.
• Ensure process mapping, business requirements documentation, gap analysis, and configuration decisions are properly conducted and validated.
• Collaborate with business leaders from departments such as sales, service, parts, inventory, logistics, and finance to understand functional needs and translate them into ERP solutions.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs and contractual obligations.
• Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing), training, and change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership through dashboards, reports, and steering committee meetings.
• Ensure post-go-live support and stabilization of ERP systems and continuous process improvement.
Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills
Education & Work Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of IT project management experience, with at least 3–5 years in the heavy equipment or B2B industrial sector.
• Hands-on experience in implementing Infor ERP (e.g., Infor M3, Infor CloudSuite Equipment) or similar ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of business processes in equipment distribution, service, maintenance, rental management, and aftermarket parts.
• Proven experience in managing third-party vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with data migration, system integrations, and legacy system transitions.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in digital transformation projects in the equipment sector.
• Knowledge of IoT, telematics, asset tracking, or integration with field service systems.
• Understanding of compliance standards, data privacy, and cybersecurity considerations in ERP projects.
• Ability to manage multi-country or multi-business-unit deployments.
