Cummins is offering an Apprentice - Mechanical role in Palmerston North, full time onsite. Working under a qualified Cummins Technician, you will learn diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products, earning while you learn and progressing toward a Level 4 trade qualification in Heavy Automotive Engineering, Road Transport. The program includes off-the-job training with our partner, structured on-the-job training, and rotations through regional departments to gain experience across automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engine products. Important attributes include a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, excellent communication and teamwork, strong literacy and numeracy, and the right to work in New Zealand; a preference for finishing year 13 or equivalent. Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician, you will learn everything that comes with the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.
