Fatherson International FZE seeks a Dubai based Architectural Draftsman for a full time onsite role to prepare shop drawings, working drawings, IFC and as built drawings, develop floor plans and elevations, and coordinate with structural and MEP teams while reviewing for clashes and incorporating client comments. Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, a Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to read and coordinate multi-disciplinary drawings per UAE requirements. Gulf experience is preferred and high-rise villas and commercial project exposure is a plus. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare architectural shop drawings, working drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings .
  • Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and architectural details .
  • Prepare door/window schedules, finish layouts, ceiling plans, and other architectural drawings.
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP services .
  • Review drawings and identify discrepancies, clashes, and design issues.
  • Incorporate consultant/client comments and revise drawings accordingly.
  • Prepare RFI drawings and technical details when required.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
  • Prepare accurate drawings based on site measurements and actual site conditions.
  • Assist the site team with drawing-related technical clarifications.
  • Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and submission records.
  • Ensure drawings comply with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable UAE requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Architectural Draftsman.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
  • Good understanding of architectural construction drawings and detailing.
  • Experience with high-rise buildings, villas, commercial and residential projects .
  • Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • UAE/Gulf experience preferred.
