DIALOG is seeking an Architectural Technologist/BIM Coordinator for a full-time onsite role in Calgary to work with project managers, architects, engineers and the specs team. You’ll develop and coordinate drawings in Revit, lead BIM processes and BEPs, conduct model audits and clash detection, and support construction documentation using cloud platforms and Bluebeam Revu. Ideal candidates bring 3–7 years BIM-enabled experience, advanced Revit skills, Revizto/Navisworks familiarity, and knowledge of BEPs and ISO 19650; Dynamo is a plus. We are seeking an Architectural Technologist/BIM Coordinator to work cork closely with our p[roject managers, job captains, architects, engineers, the specifications team, and other team members to support all stages of the project lifecycle. 

How you'll make a difference:

  • Work with the project team to develop drawings and coordinate between disciplines
  • Create contract document drawings in Revit
  • Coordinate drawings with the project consultant and specifications team
  • Plan and prepare construction documents including drawings, consultant coordination and facilitate project schedule milestones and deliverables
  • Research and prepare technical aspects for design development documentation
  • Participation and contribute to the project's final coordination review using Bluebeam Revu
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure the design expectations are being met
  • Support the implementation and execution of BIM processes, standards, and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
  • Establish and maintain project models, templates, worksharing environments, and file structures across the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct model audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with BIM standards, project requirements, and best practices.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models with internal teams and external consultants using cloud-based collaboration and coordination platforms.
  • Facilitate coordination reviews, including clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution workflows.
  • Monitor model health, performance, and data integrity while supporting documentation workflows and problem-solving.
  • Support project deliverables and information exchanges while maintaining BIM documentation, coordination reports, and compliance records.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance on Revit and BIM tools while contributing to continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and practices.

Who you are:

  • Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3-7 years of experience in BIM-enabled Architecture, Engineering, or Construction environments.
  • Familiarity with Revizto and Navisworks
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong understanding of coordination platforms (e.g., Autodesk Forma or similar) and model coordination practices across disciplines.
  • Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), industry standards, and information management principles (ISO 19650 familiarity is an asset).
  • Solid understanding of building systems, construction documentation, and project delivery processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Dynamo, BIM automation, or emerging technologies is an asset.
