FAB is seeking an Area Head to lead 7 to 10 branches in Abu Dhabi Island 1, driving sales, service quality, profitability, and the NBAD footprint expansion across the area while leveraging cross-sell opportunities and a superior customer experience. The role reports to the Regional Head, sets and cascades budget and KPI targets, monitors branch performance, enforces policies, and guides branch network strategy including openings, relocations, and ATM CDM decisions. You will represent the bank locally, coordinate with the Head of Customer Experience on complaints, and develop talent with Emiratisation in mind. Requirements: bachelor’s degree, 10 years in banking with at least 5 in a similar managerial role. This role holder is responsible to manage a network of 7 -10 branches in defined area and directing and guiding the branches in the assigned region and ensuring of achieving sales and satisfaction targets, and maximizing the profitability and widening the NBAD footprint across the area. The role holder is also responsible enhancing the sales & marketing of all retail banking products by capitalizing on direct and cross sell opportunities and ensuring efficient customer services.
- Work closely with Regional Head to implement distribution/network strategy and sales & services strategy. Agree overall budget and KPI targets as well as budget and targets per customer segments for the area/cluster with Regional Head and delegate budget and targets to the Branch/Cluster Managers in the area. Delivering the agreed budget & KPI targets in that area with managing, supporting and monitoring branches, branch/cluster managers, sales & service teams performance.
- Implements departmental policies, systems, and procedure so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a standardized quality, cost-effective service with high standard customer experience across all branches in that area.
- Explore and gather all needful details to create new business opportunities within the area in coordination with other Business Lines. Also gather all details to open/relocate/remove a branch or ATM/CDM in that area and provide business justification.
- Representing the bank in local community in the assigned area
- Handle customer complaints in coordination with Head of Customer Experience
- Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensure effective implementation of the NBAD performance management process
- Develops talent within the team by providing guidance and coaching to achieve the defined goals with clear focus on Emiratisation
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with experience in the branch network.
- 10 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 5 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the branch network.
