TE Connectivity seeks an Assembly Operator II to join its Manufacturing/Production Teams in Braintree, ENG, on a full-time, on-site basis. You will perform changeovers and setups to the production schedule, conduct quality checks per procedures, and maintain 5S and clean work areas in line with EH&S policies. You’ll manage material flow, operate machinery to prep products, and document results, while supporting production plans to meet customer demands and shipping deadlines and communicating status across departments. The ideal candidate reads production drawings, works independently and in teams, and brings a continuous improvement mindset. Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow.

This role performs changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining 5S and organization of the work area, in addition must follow TE Connectivity’s EH&S policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • • Maintain safe working practices supporting the company’s standards.

    • Ensure the correct selection of material from company documentation.

    • Deliver material to operational areas in a timely manner.

    • Working to tight deadlines

    • Good housekeeping, 5S knowledge desirable

    • Using machinery to prep and complete products

    • File and process paperwork within the area and in line with system requirements

    • Working to a high standard

  • Further Responsibilities

    • Informing supervisor and or purchasing of material shortage
    • Maintaining production plans to ensure alignment with customer demands and shipping deadlines
    • Participating in daily team meetings to review plans and workload
    • Effectively communicating and updating relevant departments on current operational statuses
    • Flexibility to work within other process departments
