your new role:

 
  • Supervising and directing the daily activities of assembly line workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, coaching and appraisals
  • Creating reports and records of production processes, tools, issues performance, and inventory; sharing them with plant managers and providing suggestions to improve productivity and quality
  • Monitoring the key performance indicators, achieving targets and required quality standards, and motivating the team to create a high-performance culture with improved efficiency
  • Ensure that day to day EH&S standards are maintained across the site
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques
  • Lead problem-solving efforts to resolve customer concerns and eliminate root causes

 

Your ideal background:

 

  • Strong team leadership and motivational skills
  • Experience in managing team performance through coaching, appraisals, and development plans
  • Ability to drive employee engagement and foster a high-performing team culture
  • Solid understanding of assembly operations and process optimization
  • Capable of planning and organizing work to maximize labor, material, and equipment use
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tool
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) regulations and standards
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and standards
