About the role:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role provides an excellent opportunity for an accounting graduate or early-career finance professional to gain broad exposure across financial operations in a global organisation. You will support the Finance team with transaction processing, reconciliations, month-end activities and financial administration while developing your accounting knowledge and technical skills.

Responsibilities Include:
- Uploading payments across multiple banking platforms and entities.
- Processing and reconciling accounts receivable transactions.
- Matching security receipts within NetSuite and Accelo.
- Completing bank reconciliations across multiple entities and bank accounts.
- Importing and processing employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card transactions.
- Assisting with month-end close activities and journals.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and related reconciliations.
- Supporting compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Working closely with the Financial Controller and Senior Accountants on a variety of finance projects and initiatives.
About You:
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence learning new systems.
