As an Assistant Chief Engineer, you play a key role in supporting the Head of Engineering in overseeing the maintenance and operational aspects of the hotel's physical infrastructure.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive engineering and maintenance strategies to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel's facilities.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to plan and execute preventive maintenance programs, minimizing equipment downtime and extending the lifespan of systems.
- Support the management of the engineering department's budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Work closely with the Head of Engineering to supervise and guide the engineering team, providing training and performance assessments.
- Coordinate with other departments to address their technical needs and provide assistance for various events and activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, promoting a secure and sustainable working environment.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending upgrades or improvements to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
