University of Guelph seeks a lead Assistant Coach for Men’s Volleyball to support growth and competitive success at the U SPORTS level in a temporary part-time role from August 31, 2026 to April 30, 2027. Working with the Head Coach, you’ll plan practices, recruit student athletes, develop players, assist with scouting and video analysis, and help with fundraising while upholding Safe Sport and inclusion initiatives. Key requirements: undergraduate degree, at least 3 years of competitive coaching (post secondary, national, or club), NCCP Level 3 or equivalent, strong understanding of U SPORTS, and proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency with PerfBook, BallTime, and stats; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel. The Men's Volleyball Program at the University of Guelph is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the team as lead Assistant Coach. This position plays a key role in supporting the continued growth and competitive success of the program at the U SPORTS level. The Assistant Coach will work in collaboration with the Head Coach to provide leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise to student-athletes while upholding the mission and values of the university and athletic department.
