Role Overview:
Provide senior leadership for safety governance across multiple high-rise construction projects. Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and corporate Zero-Harm safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development and implementation of corporate HSE management systems, policies and assurance programs.
• Manage internal & third-party safety audits to ensure regulatory and ISO compliance.
• Act as main safety representative with UAE/Abu Dhabi authorities and certification bodies.
• Review and approve construction method statements, risk assessments, and site safety plans.
• Direct investigations of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; ensure corrective actions.
• Drive behavioural-based safety initiatives and engagement campaigns.
• Develop emergency response plans, conduct crisis simulations and evacuation drills.
• Prepare safety performance dashboards, trend analyses and board-level reports.
• Coach and mentor project directors and HSE managers to strengthen safety culture.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
• 15+ years in senior construction safety leadership roles on major projects.
• Engineering degree and NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Strong GCC experience with high-rise or mega construction projects.
• Chartered membership (IOSH or similar) preferred.
• Detailed working knowledge of Abu Dhabi & UAE regulatory frameworks.

Benefits
