This role centers on coaching for a high performing culture, achieving KPIs, rostering and group fitness timetables, and driving member engagement, service excellence, safety and compliance. You’ll need a Cert IV in Fitness, current First Aid and CPR, Fitness Australia Kinect registration, proven leadership in fitness or wellbeing, and strong communication and organizational skills, plus Tuesday to Saturday availability. About the Opportunity

We’re seeking an Assistant Fitness Centre Manager to support the Fitness Centre Manager and lead our fitness team. This role requires high energy, strong leadership, and a passion for driving team performance, member engagement, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support all fitness centre team members including fitness professionals.
  • Lead highperformance culture through coaching, mentoring and KPI achievement.
  • Manage all rosters, including group fitness timetables.
  • Drive member engagement, service excellence, and timely resolution of member issues.
  • Oversee operations: compliance, safety, presentation, maintenance and reporting.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive, motivated and highenergy team environment.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Certificate IV in Fitness, current First Aid & CPR, and Fitness Australia/Kinect registration.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a fitness or wellbeing environment.
  • Strong communication, organisational and peoplemanagement capability.
  • A flexible, proactive "cando" attitude with the ability to inspire and mentor others.
  • Availability to work a Tues–Sat roster.
