Assistant Manager | New Brighton Hotel 

Base Salary $80,000 + Super + Bonus Scheme + Group Wide Discounts

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the New Brighton Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

Situated right on iconic Manly Beach, the New Brighton Hotel is a dynamic four-story venue featuring a bustling Sports Bar, a Balcony Bar with the Northern Beaches' largest craft beer and spirits list, and a spectacular Rooftop Garden Bar boasting panoramic views from Shelly to Queenscliff beaches. Just a short walk from the Manly Ferry, we are a premier coastal hub for craft drinks, live entertainment, and beachfront dining.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and RCG as per state requirements
