Spencer Gifts Spirit Halloween is hiring a full time Assistant Store Manager in Lethbridge to support the Store Manager in delivering outstanding guest service, driving sales and profitability, developing staff, and managing expenses, shrinkage, merchandising and inventory in line with company policies. The role requires prior retail or management experience, a minimum age of 18, and the ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $17.25 hourly and a comprehensive benefits package is offered. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures. The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18. The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior retail and or management experience is required.
