As an Assistant Supervisor in Puttershoek, you play a key role in the daily operation of one of the most modern and automated logistics centers in Europe. You are the link between your team and the Supervisor, ensuring processes run smoothly and performance stays on track.

You’ll work in a dynamic, international environment where systems, data, and continuous improvement are central. This is a role where you combine leadership with hands-on operational control.

YOUR ROLE

As an Assistant Supervisor, you are co-responsible for the daily warehouse operation. You ensure your team performs, processes run smoothly, and priorities are clear throughout the shift.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities and divide work during daily stand-ups;
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 20–30 warehouse employees and line leads;
  • Create and adjust daily planning based on volumes, staffing, and priorities;
  • Monitor KPIs such as productivity, quality, and output, and act on deviations;
  • Prepare daily reports (e.g. volumes, inbound/outbound flow) and share insights with the Supervisor.

You act as the operational point of contact on the floor and maintain a strong helicopter view across processes, people, and priorities. You report to the Supervisor and work closely with Workforce and other operational departments.

You work in shifts (morning and evening). In busy periods, you may also work on Saturdays. A few times per year, night shifts can be needed for a short period. You will get extra pay for shifts. You will receive a shift allowance.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Supervisor who wants to grow within a professional, fast-paced, and technology-driven logistics environment.

  • MBO level or similar working and thinking level;
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within logistics;
  • Experience in a warehouse or production environment;
  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Excel;
  • Good command of the English language;
  • Willing to work in shifts;
  • Strong coordination skills and the ability to maintain overview (helicopter view);
  • Proactive, decisive, and focused on continuous improvement.
