Galadari Brothers is looking for an Assistant Technician to join the onsite UAE team, focusing on diesel genset maintenance, servicing and commissioning. The role involves helping troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults under supervision, performing routine inspections of engines, alternators, batteries and control panels, and carrying out basic preventive maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, and tightening connections. You will support load testing, field service and emergency repairs, keep tools and the workspace organized, and assist with service reports and maintenance records. For best results, emphasize hands on genset experience, safety compliance, ability to work onsite in the UAE, and solid teamwork and documentation.

• Assist in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of diesel generators (gensets).

• Support troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical faults under supervision.

• Help with installation, testing, and commissioning of generator units.

• Assist in routine inspections of generator components, including engines, alternators, batteries, and control panels.

• Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, filter replacement, and tightening connections.

• Support load testing and operational checks.

• Help maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.

• Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.

• Assist with preparing service reports and maintenance records.

• Support field service activities and emergency breakdown repairs when required.
