The Opportunity

As an Associate / Associate Director (Electrical), you’ll lead electrical services design and multidisciplinary coordination across some of Sydney’s most important and complex projects. From concept to delivery, you will provide technical leadership, design oversight, and guidance to emerging engineers while enhancing our client relationships and strengthening our Building Services offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical design for major transport, commercial, defence, data centre and healthcare projects
  • Ensure design quality, governance, and technical excellence across all stages
  • Coordinate with internal disciplines, architects, contractors and external partners
  • Mentor and develop engineers within the team
  • Support proposals, bids and sector growth activities
  • Promote sustainability, safety and digital engineering best practices

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in Building Services consultancy at Associate / Associate Director level (or ready to step up)
  • Strong portfolio delivering electrical design for complex, large‑scale built environment projects
  • Experience in at least one of: transport infrastructure, commercial towers/precincts, defence, healthcare or data centres
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client interfaces confidently
  • Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Chartered status (CPEng) or working towards it is beneficial
