Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director in Melbourne to lead a team delivering Commercial and Landlord capital works upgrade projects, taking end-to-end responsibility for project management commissions, client objectives, and time, cost and quality targets while driving sector growth. The ideal candidate will bring 10-15+ years of client-side PM experience, be well connected in Melbourne’s construction and property scene (REITs preferred), and have a proven track record in business development, procurement, contract administration and superintendent duties. Highlight stakeholder management, governance, budgeting and cashflow control, and mentoring of junior staff. Our team is looking for an Associate Director to oversee a team to deliver a mix of Commercial / Landlord capital works upgrade projects:
• To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects.
- Build upon an already established network in the Landlord / Commercial / REIT client base to identify opportunities as part of their Sector Leadership role and be responsible for leading the team to drive growth and achieving the budgets set
• To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
• Manage all aspects of the project and both the internal team and consultant team to deliver quality outputs on time.
• Manage commissions, cashflows, budgets plus assist with resourcing and superintendent recommendations.
• Training and development of junior staff (transfer of skills to graduates and assistant PMs).
