AECOM is seeking an Associate Director, Structures in Dubai to lead design of bridges and underground structures, oversee technical reviews and quality control, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients across the GCC. The role requires 15+ years of hands-on structural engineering experience in transportation and underground works, with familiarity in AASHTO LRFD, Eurocodes and AREMA, and proficiency in Midas, STAAD, SAP and RM Bridges. UAE/ME project experience is preferred. Qualifications include a Bachelor in Civil or Structural Engineering, an MSc or PhD preferred, Chartered Engineer or PE highly preferred, and PMP/RMP preferred. Strong leadership, communication, risk management, BIM/CAD coordination, and budget monitoring are essential, as is business development. AECOM is seeking Associate Director - Structures, to be based in Dubai, UAE. The Associate Director will be responsible to lead the team to produce the design information and coordinate with the relevant design disciplines. He/She will be responsible to provide technical reviews and quality management, share technical expertise and experience with others in the company via internal technical communication and presentations.
Design will be carried out in accordance with AASHTO LRFD, Eurocodes, AREMA and or any other international design code as applicable. As a leader, he/she will be also responsible to coordinate with the Client and the key stakeholders of the projects. He/she will be also required to travel when required to address the projects and Clients needs, in particular within GCC. He/She may be assigned, if required, to undertake some site inspections.
