Job Description

As an Associate in KordaMentha’s Major Projects Advisory Team, you will get the opportunity to work on significant government and private sector programs and projects. As a team, we bring multi-sector experience across transport, health and aged care, utilities, real estate and social infrastructure, city-shaping and private projects (such as precinct development, aviation, and mining), and future-focused projects and industries (including renewables and defence). We value the clients we work with and put a significant amount of effort to ensure our work is of the highest quality.

We have a strong focus on culture – supporting each other across our various engagements, and bringing a positive attitude to our work so that we can continue to deliver excellent client outcomes, and hopefully have fun along the way!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Versatile Execution: Demonstrate a hands-on approach to tasks, from creating business cases to running strategic workshops to taking detailed minutes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in project, program, or operational delivery roles within a professional or corporate environment
  • Tertiary qualification in business, finance, engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Proven experience delivering projects or workstreams, including planning, coordination and execution to achieve outcomes
  • Strong project management capability, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to identify risks, issues and dependencies, and proactively recommend practical solutions or mitigation strategies
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience, including facilitating discussions, workshops or working sessions
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to engage and influence a range of stakeholders
