Deutsche Börse is seeking an Associate, Relationship Management (f/m/d) in Dubai, a full time onsite role to grow a client base of banks and financial institutions while upholding strict KYC and AML standards. You will initiate and maintain relationships, manage onboarding, keep CRM data current, monitor profitability, and coordinate with compliance, credit and middle office to realize cross selling opportunities and manage risk. The ideal candidate has four to six years in securities or banking, experience with custodian banks or securities houses, a bachelor’s degree, solid KYC AML knowledge, and English fluency with Arabic or French a plus. Your Area of Work
As a Relationship Manager, your role is to develop and grow the business in the market under your coverage, while ensuring the highest level of integrity and compliance with procedures and regulations.
Your Responsbilities
- Initiate, establish, and maintain excellent relationships with existing and prospective customers (banks and financial institutions).
- Act as First Line of Defense, always up to date on client's status, KYC/AML, adverse media.
- Collect full KYC documentation and related requirements for clients under responsibility.
- Update/upload CRM tool for documents collected.
- Work on meeting the targets set (new relations, financial targets, increase business, cross-selling, and self-development).
- Support line manager to execute agreed business plan.
- Identify opportunities and work with Line Manager to realize the opportunity and update the CRM tool.
- Identify any Business at Risk and raise it to Line Manager and update the CRM tool.
- Ensure KYC Reviews are completed on time.
- Monitor clients MIS and profitability to identify potential opportunities, business trend, or any suspicious/irregular activities (to raise to 2 LOD)
- Always stay up to date with new procedures and policies and follow the Global RM and Sales Roles and Responsibilities Handbook.
- Keep abreast of market updates, products developments, and competitors.
- Prepare and present proposals and product presentations to potential new customers.
- Handle the client onboarding process from initial contact until account activation.
- Liaise with all internal stakeholders (compliance, credit, middle-office) during the lifecycle of the client's relation.
- Ensure clients onboarded have full access to system, trainings done to manage their accounts, and reporting setup done.
- Support clients on all products subscription (required documents, filling forms, internal follow-ups with Documentation and product teams).
- Manage escalated customer queries and provide solutions to customer issues.
Your Profile
- 4-6 years’ experience in securities / banking business, with experience in custodian bank or securities house preferred.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Banking experience preferably in Securities Services or Treasury/Capital Markets department.
- KYC experience with Compliance AML/CFT knowledge.
- Work in a multicultural environment (internally and externally).
- Good presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage deliverables on time.
- English required (Arabic and/or French is a plus).
