This full-time Attender role at NMC Healthcare in Dubai is a frontline support position designed to assist nurses and keep patient areas clean, comfortable and organized. You’ll perform ward duties, respond to patient requests, help with mobility, hygiene, eating and discharge prep, manage linen and supply areas, and participate in infection prevention programs while under supervision. Strong candidates typically have a high school diploma, basic English, and a genuine interest in healthcare; Arabic is a plus. Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the registered nurse.  Contribute to the general

              environment of the hospital well-being of the patient as a member of the nursing team.

  1. Assist in patient care and other ward related duties as directed by and under supervision of the staff nurse.

    1. Respond quickly to patient’s request for assistance. 
    2. Assist with patient’s elimination, mobility, physical comfort, eating and drinking needs 
    3. Assist the nursing staff in bed making, sponge bathing and other hygienic activity of the patient.
    4. Responsible for segregation of soiled linen as per infection control guide lines under the supervision of nursing personnel.
    5. Assist in the maintenance of cleanliness in all areas including patient’s room within the unit. 
    6. Assist in the maintenance of supply and storage areas.
    7. Act as a messenger when required. 
    8. Escort patients to and from the Department as directed by nurse on duty.
    9. To be responsible to act as a part of infection prevention and control programs.
    10. Assist nursing staff in preparing/cleaning patient’s room for admission/discharge.
    11. Participates in any scheduled educational activities

             while observing and reporting any specific changes to the staff nurse. 

 

  1.     High school graduate.

    1.    Intermediate English skills preferred. Spoken Arabic advantageous.

    2.    Demonstrate motivation to work in a health care environment.
