AsureQuality is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Auditor to join our team in Mount Maunganui. This full-time role (40 hours per week) is rostered Monday to Friday and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and varied position supporting New Zealand's horticulture industry.

About the Role
You’ll conduct systematic and independent audits to assess compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and programme requirements. Your work will involve reviewing processes, systems, and records to verify operator conformity and provide technically accurate audit reports.

This role requires regular travel across both the North and South Islands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attain and maintain approved auditor status for specified programmes
  • Conduct audits in accordance with regulatory and AsureQuality procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date technical and regulatory knowledge
  • Provide timely and accurate audit reports and manage non-conformances
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, regulators, and team members
  • Participate in internal audits, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote and uphold workplace health and safety standards

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in the Kiwifruit or Avocado industries, or prior auditing experience in these sectors, is a strong advantage
