CarMax is hiring an Auto Repair Specialist II in San Marcos, a full‑time onsite role focused on advanced mechanical and cosmetic repairs, diagnosing engine performance and drivability, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, and complete 4‑wheel alignments while upholding CarMax Quality Standards and 5S cleanliness. You’ll consult with customers, explain services, and accurately close repair orders, manage parts inventory, and follow EH&S requirements. Required qualifications include completion of New Associate Orientation, ASE certifications in A1 through A8 where applicable, the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, and the physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
