As an Autofroth Parts and Equipment Technician for our Performance Materials business unit in Central, SC, you will build a meaningful career while supporting the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and preparation of specialized polyurethane dispensing equipment and foam system assemblies for the Autofroth business.

During your straight day shift as a Autofroth Parts and Equipment Technician, you will

 

  • Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair Autofroth dispensing equipment and foam system assemblies
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to support equipment builds and repairs
  • Perform electrical wiring, soldering, control panel assembly, and electrical troubleshooting for dispensing equipment systems
  • Support mechanical assembly activities including pumps, hoses, pneumatic systems, and fluid handling components
  • Conduct equipment testing, inspections, and quality verification to ensure operational and safety standards are met
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to customers by identifying equipment issues, determining root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions
  • Maintain organized inventory, equipment staging, documentation, and shipping preparation activities
  • Support equipment movement and material handling activities, including forklift operation
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment while following Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) and ISO requirements
  • Collaborate with the Parts and Equipment Manager and Autofroth team members to support business and customer requirements

If you...

 

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED; technical school or higher education preferred
  • Have mechanical and electrical experience in equipment assembly, troubleshooting, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
  • Can read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Have experience using soldering equipment, hand tools, power tools, and multimeters
  • Are mechanically curious with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently on projects
  • Are committed to safe equipment handling, PPE compliance, and EH&S standards
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods while working with hand and power tools
  • Are willing to work occasional overtime and weekend hours as business needs require
  • Have forklift experience preferred; training and certification provided
