Midas Store Manager in Edmonton, full-time on-site, seeks a seasoned automotive leader to run store operations, safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will recruit and coach technicians, deliver exceptional service, oversee vehicle inspections, build repair orders, quote pricing, manage inventory and environmental compliance, and report daily sales to ownership. The ideal candidate has at least two years in store or service management, solid automotive knowledge, strong communication and leadership skills, experience with POS systems, and the ability to work retail hours including Saturdays. This role offers a competitive salary 70,000 to 120,000, health and dental, training and advancement, and a performance bonus. - Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule and coach employees
- Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
- Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
- Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
- Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
- Lead, manage, and train team while keeping in tune with our companies’ vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed.
- Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks
- Maintain inventory counts
- Responsible for any inventory losses
- Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility, including environmental compliance
- Updating and submitting daily sales reports to ownership group
- A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience
- General automotive knowledge
- Excellent customer service disposition

- Strong POS computer and Internet skills
- Leadership ability
- Team-building skills
- Ability to work a retail schedule including Saturday's
- Valid driver’s license
