JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION
The role supports the VP & Head of GM MO Trade Support by managing day-to-day Dealer Assist and Data Readiness activities across Global Markets products, ensuring Front Office Sales and Trading desks receive timely, accurate and consistent operational support. The role coordinates client ready-to-trade activities, product activation readiness, counterparty setup, account and portfolio readiness, static/reference data dependencies, SSI enrichment requirements and new product operational readiness from a Trade Support perspective. The role manages T0 Dealer Assist requests, trade booking support queries, allocation support, enrichment follow-up, affirmation/confirmation monitoring support and settlement-readiness dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and hand-off to relevant owner functions. The role works closely with Front Office, GM MO Trade Support, Operations, KYC, Credit, Compliance, GM Documentation, Reference Data, Technology, Product Control, Market Risk and regional teams to remove blockers, improve service quality and support scalable trade execution support.The role does not own independent Control & Governance responsibilities such as trading permissions controls, booking template controls, off-market monitoring, counterparty exposure monitoring, reconciliations, collateral management, regulatory reporting, RCSA/KRI ownership or control effectiveness testing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dealer Assist Operating Discipline
- Execute and coordinate daily Dealer Assist activities in line with approved service standards, request channels, escalation protocols and handover routines.
- Manage Front Office request intake, triage, prioritisation, allocation and follow-up across assigned products, desks or regional coverage points.
- Support trade booking queries, client account allocations, portfolio allocations, sales-support requests and trade-flow coordination required by Sales and Trading desks.
- Maintain request logs, workload trackers, escalation records and service commentary to support transparent service management.
Identify recurring Dealer Assist issues, process gaps and capacity constraints, and escalate improvement opportunities to the VP & Head of GM MO Trade Support.
- Client Activation and Ready-to-Trade Coordination
- Coordinate client onboarding and ready-to-trade activities with KYC, Credit, Compliance, GM Documentation, Reference Data, Operations and Front Office teams.
- Track client, counterparty, product, account, portfolio, SSI, static data and reference-data dependencies required for trading enablement.
Support product activation and counterparty activation by coordinating required data, documentation, system setup and stakeholder actions.
Escalate onboarding blockers, incomplete setup items, documentation gaps and system-readiness issues impacting Front Office execution.
Maintain readiness trackers and provide timely updates on open actions, owners, deadlines and risks to trade readiness.
- Data Readiness and Static / Reference Data Coordination
- Support static data, reference data, market data and SSI readiness activities required for accurate trade booking, enrichment, validation and downstream processing.
- Coordinate with Reference Data, Technology, Operations, Market Risk and relevant owner functions to resolve data-quality or setup issues impacting trade support.
- Perform completeness checks on operational data dependencies and ensure items are appropriately routed, tracked and escalated.
Support new product operational readiness by coordinating data, system and workflow dependencies from a Trade Support perspective.
Identify recurring data-readiness issues and support root-cause analysis, remediation actions and process standardisation.
T0 Trade Support and Enrichment Support
- Support T0 trade support activities including non-economic booking support, enrichment follow-up, allocation support and trade-flow coordination.
Coordinate with T0 Validation teams to ensure required trade-support information is complete and available for validation, affirmation, confirmation and settlement-readiness processes.
- Support Front Office queries relating to booking support, account/portfolio mapping, SSI enrichment, missing data and trade-support dependencies.
Escalate aged, urgent or high-impact trade support items to the VP & Head of GM MO Trade Support and relevant owner functions.
Ensure unresolved control, reconciliation, collateral, regulatory or risk-monitoring matters are handed off to GM MO Control & Governance or other owner functions as appropriate.
- Affirmation, Confirmation and Settlement-Readiness Support
- Monitor assigned affirmation and confirmation support items, coordinating follow-up with relevant teams where trade-support information is required.
Support settlement-readiness by ensuring account setup, allocation, SSI, enrichment and required non-economic data dependencies are complete or escalated.
- Coordinate with Operations, Trade Support, Product Control, Front Office and regional teams to resolve trade-support dependencies that may impact timely downstream processing.
- Track open support items, commentary, owner actions and escalation status to support daily service discipline.
Contribute to reduction of recurring trade-support issues by identifying upstream data, booking or workflow causes.
Stakeholder Management and Service Delivery
- Act as a day-to-day Trade Support contact for Front Office Sales and Trading desks on Dealer Assist and data-readiness matters.
Coordinate across KYC, Credit, Compliance, GM Documentation, Reference Data, Technology, Operations, Product Control and regional teams to remove trade-support blockers.
- Maintain clear communication on service status, pending actions, escalation requirements and expected next steps.
Support effective hand-offs between Dealer Assist, T0 Validation, Operations and GM MO Control & Governance functions.
Promote a service-oriented culture focused on responsiveness, accuracy, ownership, clear escalation and Front Office enablement.
Reporting, MI and Service Inputs
- Prepare inputs for Trade Support service reporting, operational dashboards, request volumes, SLA adherence, backlog ageing and recurring issue themes.
- Provide accurate commentary on client readiness, data-readiness blockers, Dealer Assist activity and trade-support escalation items.
- Maintain request and readiness trackers to support management visibility and service performance analysis.
- Contribute to KPI and service-quality inputs required by the VP & Head of GM MO Trade Support.
- Support standardised MI and dashboard enhancements for Trade Support and Data Readiness activities.
- Process Improvement, Automation and UAT
- Identify opportunities to simplify request management, reduce manual hand-offs, improve data-readiness tracking and enhance service visibility.
- Participate in UAT, workflow design, dashboard development and automation initiatives impacting Dealer Assist and Data Readiness processes.
- Support standardisation of templates, request categories, escalation formats, handover processes and operating procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance STP, service quality, capacity and operational scalability.
- Support knowledge transfer and cross-training across Dealer Assist, Data Readiness and T0 Validation teams.
- People, Capability and Coverage Support
- Coach Specialists were assigned and support day-to-day task allocation, workload balancing and service discipline within the Dealer Assist & Data Readiness team.
- Support cross-product capability building across FX/MM, Derivatives, Commodities, Capital Markets and other applicable products.
Assist in documenting procedures, process maps, checklists and training materials for Trade Support activities.
- Promote accountability, ownership, timely escalation and consistent service standards across the team.

Support succession planning, coverage resilience and cross-training initiatives led by the VP & Head of GM MO Trade Support.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related discipline; professional qualification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in Global Markets Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support, Dealer Assist, Client Onboarding, Reference Data, Front Office support or related operational support functions.
- Strong understanding of Global Markets products including FX, Money Markets, Rates, Derivatives, Commodities, Capital Markets and structured products.
- Good knowledge of trade lifecycle processes including client readiness, product activation, counterparty setup, trade booking support, enrichment, validation, affirmation, confirmation and settlement-readiness support.
- Experience coordinating with Front Office, KYC, Credit, Compliance, GM Documentation, Reference Data, Technology, Operations, Product Control and regional teams.
- Practical knowledge of systems and platforms such as Murex, Bloomberg, MarkitWire / matching platforms, reference-data tools, workflow trackers and dashboard tools.
- Strong stakeholder management, prioritisation, communication, escalation, documentation and service-delivery skills.
