What your impact will be like:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Back-Office & Accounting Specialist to cover a maternity leave within our Operations team. In this role, you will be the backbone of Exeon's financial administration - ensuring our accounting runs smoothly and supporting the sales process from order to invoice. You will report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with our Senior Financial Advisor.

In particular, your responsibilities will be:

  • Core (Accounting & HR Admin):

    • Payment management: processing and filing incoming invoices, handling e-banking transactions (including monthly reporting), and managing company credit cards

    • Bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with our Senior Financial Advisor

    • HR administration: drafting contracts and contract amendments based on templates, managing signature workflows and filing, processing employees' expenses

  • Additional (depending on profile & workload)

    • Order management: processing incoming orders and handling invoicing in coordination with customer-facing teams

    • Payroll accounting

    • General administrative support as needed

What you can expect from us:

  • Continuous Personal Growth: Benefit from our annual training budget dedicated to your professional development.

  • Truly International Team: Join colleagues from diverse backgrounds across the globe.

  • Company Events & Workshops: Connect with colleagues through regular team events and collaborative workshops.

  • Remote‑First & Flexible Work: Enjoy remote‑first culture with hybrid options (office in Zürich) when it fits best.

  • Family-Friendly Options: Part-time roles & enhanced maternity and paternity leave.

Requirements

What makes a good person-job-fit:

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who’s comfortable in a high-paced scale-up environment and who shares our values.  In addition, we are looking for certain requirements and skills to establish a good person-job-fit:

  • Accounting experience: Hands-on experience with standard bookings and quarterly financial statements; for complex issues, you can rely on our Senior Financial Advisor

  • Tool familiarity: Experience with accounting tools such as Bexio and potentially also payroll tools such as Abacus, or similar

  • Professional background: Several years of experience in a comparable role; a completed apprenticeship (KV or equivalent) and/or a degree from a university of applied sciences - though we value pragmatism and a solution-oriented mindset over credentials

  • Languages: Fluent German and solid business English

  • Personality: Communicative, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking - someone who likes to take ownership and isn't afraid to think outside the box
